I had a credit card with a ex-boyfriend. Both names are on the account so it will hurt both of our credits if it is not paid, of course his credit is bad already. I have left two messages for him to get the bill with no response, what should I do.

Pay your half and let the credit card company know the situation. They may not like it or except your offer, but you will be doing your part. Try to send the EX a letter in writting and tell him what you are doing and you would expect him to pay his half of the bill. Good luck.

Pay the credit card because not doing so will reflect negatively on your credit report and take your ex to small claims court for the amount that he owes.

Pay it or your credit will suffer, and then take him to small claims court, just call your local court office and they will tell you how to go about doing it legally. Sad thing to do but necessary if he doesn't want to live up to his responsibility. Good Luck.
