I dont know but I believe that the soul comes with the body, it doesnt just sit around and wait for a body to enter.....

Most pagan religions (i.e. Wicca) describe a place called the Summerland, where souls wait between incarnations... basically, the soul is examining what it learned in its las life and deciding what it needs to learn in the next one.

Buddhism doesn't believe in a "soul" but considers that the MIND goes on and yep, there's description in Buddhism as to what happens before you take rebirth. It starts at death in a cycle called the "bardo" and the grasping and attachments that lead the mind into selecting whatever rebirth they're going to have.

Yes, the mormons. They believe that the souls are in what they call spirit world, I think.... Basically they wait around to be born.

Yes. In catholocism we believe the souls are praising and glorifying God along with the angels and saints until he sends them to their physical creation at conception...that is why we have to be so down on abortion.
