Gunbroker.com and auctionarms.com would be your best bet at getting the cheapest ammo on line. Cheaperthandirt ain't so cheap.

There are any number of places on the internet that will sell you .22 rimfire ammo. The problem is that there is a hazardous cargo surcharge placed on each shipment of ammo by the shipper. The last time I checked, it was about $15 per shipment. This was a few years ago and it may have gone up by now. There is not that big of a savings on the individual prices of the boxes over the internet so you would have to buy a LOT of ammo at one time to save any money over just going to Wal-Mart and buying what you need.

Yes you can buy ammo online. Just type .22 rimfire ammo for sale on your search engine. However, unless you are buying a large amount, shipping will add too much to the price. The best thing to do is to go to the sporting goods section of Walmart or look in the phone book under guns.

If you're determined to buy .22 ammo online, I would buy from Midway USA they have great customer service and go out of their way to save you money on shipping...

Online is fine if you're looking for specialized .22 ammo but Wal Mart is just fine and much cheaper for .22 Federals or some such..
