The safe amount is 14 units a week for a woman and 21 units for a man.
That is NOT 14 or 21 drinks. You work out the units by multiplying the volume x percentage of alcohol and dividing by 1000.
So, a bottle of wine 750mls if it is 10% alcohol = 7,500 divided by 1000 = 7.5 units.
People are different so no one can say how long your liver will hold up without lasting damage - cirrhosis. Blood tests will show if there is any damage. If you continue drinking this amount YOU WILL GET LIVER DAMAGE.
Mt friend's boyfriend was 28 when he died of liver failure caused by alcohol and painkillers (for chronic backpain)

It depends on what you drink and how much you consume. My dad is dying from liver problems but her drinks a 24 pack a day. I think that as long as you keep it down to mabey 1-2 times a week and not drink until you are really drunk, then you should be ok, but I really recommend that you dont drink at all.

I don't really know how bad it is, but getting drunk 4 time a week you could probally use your liver as your tombstone. It will turn hard as a rock. Good luck with the drinking. Have one for me.

I would think that it would depend on how much you drink 4 times a week, and your liver would give problems after a time yes, and your age have a lot to do with it as well, but I would say one life to live and have fun while your living cause when you die no one will care.
Live healthy, live well, live long.

It could kill your liver and you.
Why would you wait until you begin to have liver problems? If you're getting drunk 4x.wk, you have a drinking problem now, and you need to get help to stop drinking permanently. Talk with your gp or call AA. Don't wait.

Bear in mind that your liver is not fully developed until you are 26 so drinking before that can seriously compromise it's functioning.
