I took my 2 year old cat over my cousin's house so the kids can play with it. She was a little scaried, and when my sister took it outside incase she wanted to go to the bathroom... I guess she freaked out and ran away.. What should I do now?

My cousin's house is not too far from mine, but I do not think the cat can trvael that far because she would need to cross a large road.

Try going over to your cousin's house at night when everyone is in bed and the neighborhood is quiet. Stand still at the edge of their property and call your cat softly. Just stand there and listen closely. If your cat is anywhere in a half a mile of there, it will hear you and eventually meow for you. It's scared and will need a lot of gentle coaxing. Don't chase it. Let it come completely to you.

Yeah, tape up flyers around the neighborhood with her name and picture. Tell your cousin to leave out some cat food, treats, or tuna and water every day, and leave some outside at your own house, too. The one thing you can be sure will attract a cat is food. Once any cat's found the food, it'll hang around.

Just watch to be sure it's not eaten by raccoons or something.

I would suggest calling her nightly so she can hear that you want her and know exactly where to go I have a friend who's that her cat got something where the world is always spinning and the vet thought their calling daily her may have saved her life

Just let the cat come back on its own or get some cat nip and some treats and try to find it. I really hope you find your cat.

Most cats will return on their own. Its probarbaly she is ready to find her partner. As cats grown up their behaviour grows too. Im sure she will return one day.

She may come home in her own, but she might be so scared that she is hiding, or lost. I suggest you put up signs with a picture of her in your neighborhood, and possibly drive around looking for her.

I hope you find her!!!
