oooo. i'm not sure.
but, i'll give you some possibilities why he might be vomiting. he could have eaten something really bad like glass or plastic.
as long as you're there for your dog, he'll be more comfortable.
GOOD LUCK!

I would call the kennel because if and only if he picked something up there, assuming this was a busy boarding kennel, it is the kennels fault and you can have them pay the medical charges. Too many kennels have lax boarding requirements these days, and sick dogs come in and pass around their bordatella virus.
Also, the cut on the lip, you should definitely ask them about that too. They should have let you know about it when you picked him up, like how he happened to get it.
But the vomiting, you really have to watch because it could either be stress/excitement from getting out of the kennel, or that he picked up something unhealthy.

I sure hope this was not the Petsmart boarding kennel. Nothing good seems to come out of that place anymore.

Hope your dog feels better soon:)

First of all, what color is the vomit? If it has yellowish slimy stuff then he's dehydrated. Give Sugar water, juices. Does he have hard dry (dehydration) or loose stools (poison)? Are they white/ chalky? do they look like fibers in them? (Contamination from other pets) is he drooling? Glassy eyes? (medications) How long was he at the kennel? If it was over a week, I would be somewhat concerned since he may have come in contact with another animal who may have bite him or scratch (cat scratch fever) needless to say, you need to ask other people who had their pets there if their dog is also sick. Does this kennel have strict guidelines in regards to up to date shots? Did they ask you if your dog had his shots, if they did, did they ask you to bring proof? If not, be concerned. Please place your pet in a area away from other people (esp children) and pets until you can get him to a vet to be checked.

did you ask the people at the kennal what happened they should know or should have told you unless it happened mysteriouslyat night ( my dog always runs into things and gets cut in themiddle of the night ) he could have either gotten sick from the dog in the kennal or he could be vomiting because he accidently swallowed too much blood

The cut might be from something he ate that he wasnt suppose to. he migh of eaten something sharp or something that cut his lip and caused him to vomit.
