I guess it is not as weird as you or I thought. People sometimes say things to be nice with no intention of following thru. When you see her again ask her why...tell her it is ok and that you are not mad, just curious. Of course if she is a professional she will blow you off again by saying she has been busy but will call you. It is too bad there are so many flakey people.

No, girls AND guys do this all the time.
People (typically) are stupid when it comes to other people.
Dont keep calling though. Maybe wait a week, maybe two, then try again. If they are too shy to actually pick up the phone (and arent on vacation or something) then there isnt much you can do.

She probably don't dig you but was being polite. Also, she might of been, waiting for other offers out and accepted your offer out just in case the other ones didn't come through. Just like Chris Rock says, women always keep an extra guy under glass in case the one she really want does not work out.......just in case. Ha! Ha!

no she either probably has been "busy" or said yes gave you the wrong phone number, or she did not really want to go out with you she just said yes to spare your feelings

maybe shes not into you. it might be a girls way of letting you down easy/ not saying that ive done it. but its totally true.
