The dog went from 100 mph to about one mph they just took her to the vet. Her eyes are clear and coat looks good all her other signs look good. There is a new dog in the house could she be faking?

I agree with all these answers... Dogs do goofie stuff. And yes they fake being hurt. Especially if they want attention. My old dog (just put her down this past summer) she would gimp around some days. She was fine, she just wanted me to play with her. After i did for a while the gimp would stop. My other dog pretends like she has a tummy ache. she makes silly noises and rolls around like she is hurting.. I know that she is fine. she just wants her belly rubbed. Dogs crack me up.

I have a crazy chihuahua, and yesterday he was fine and today he is also slow as hell, so I took him to the vet this afternoon and somehow he must of hopped off the couch or bed wrong and separated the middle of his spine. He acts almost normal, just slower and depressed acting. Just keep an eye on the pet. The vet did say if you let it go for more than a couple of days, they can do permenant damage and face being put to sleep.

I think so. my dog that I used to have once held up his front paw like it was hurt, and when I went into another room to get something, I came back and saw him walking around normal...the little booger just wanted attention!! he never held up his paw after that either!! ha ha. but, yeah that might be what your dog is doing as well. she might just want some attention, but keep an eye on her and make sure nothing else seems out of the ordinary about her. and maybe you should do something special with just her.....I know it may seem kinda silly, but animals are a lot like humans when it comes to stuff like that. they can feel left out as well. Hope this helps! :)

I think what it is, is that shes thinking that no one is going to be paying attention to her now that theres a new dog in the house. Just show her some lovin, and if things dont get any better, then i would find another vet.

Yeah, some dogs can really play it up. Be sure to give the "older" dog a whole lot of love and attention so it won't be jealous.
Good luck.
