It is easy to do but hard to describe. But I will try.

After your sheets are on spread your blanket over the bed uniformly and tuck in the very foot.

Then pick up the very bottom edge of the foot of the blanket and gently lift it up even with the top edge of the bed and forward toward the head of the bed. When it is smooth, tuck in what is hanging below and at the bottom of the mattress.

When you lay the portion you are holding smoothly down, the fold will be at about a 45 degree angle and be very neat.

I know this is hard to make out, I have done them since I was about 10. I hope you understand it, I could sketch it better.

With the point on the corner facing you make a V cut with the apex of the V pointing away from you. Try this on a piece of scrap to see what I mean.
