I would be glad, but I think you would have been better off holding out until the day of the wedding. But at least you waited five months. I see lots of people on here talk about having sex within a month or two. You could tell him that you were his first and I'm sure that he would take it well. I mean, it's a GOOD thing. How could he not take it well unless he's a jerk? If he freaks out, I think you should date someone else because then he would not mature enough to respect virtue when he sees it. Good night!

Hello there,
My wife and I both saved ourselves for each other in marriage. We have only known each other intimately. We purposefully and prayerfully made the commitment before we met each other that there was someone out there saving themselves for each of us.
One of my first questions on our first 'date' was if she was a virgin. Kinda weird, I know. I actually made out a list, at age 15, of 4 pages of qualities and characteristics I wanted in a wife. After all, what was the purpose of dating anyway? To find a life partner.
So, if my wife would not have told me she was my first I would have been devastated.
Through the 20 year of marriage, we have grown together intimately, knowing that only we have shared our "Eros" with each other.

There will be a time when he will be delighted to hear it but you have to know when. If there's no commitment at this point then it's like trying to make him more important in your life and it may seem like you are trying to tie him to you. If he's already tied, then he'll be thrilled. You have to judge where your relationship is. If it were me, I would be really happy and if we were not committed I would let you know that I was honored and excited and would treasure the idea but it would not be a rope to bind me. But not all guys are going to be that open with you.

If I were you I would be slow in telling this to him. He may know on his own, he may not. Whether you realize it now or not you have given him a place that you gave no other and depending on what kind of a guy he is he may try and manipulate you. You don't need to be in a hurry to tell him this.

I would love to hear something like that, tell him the truth, don't start a relationship out on lies, causes nothing but problems, be truthful from the beginning...

He'll love it. But a guy likes experience too. Tell him that you're willing to learn how to take it to the limit!

I would feel honored. Someones virginity is a sacred thing and whoever you choose to give yours to should be happy and feel special. I doubt he'll freak out.

If you say it was amazing and make it sound like the best thing since Monday night football was created I think he would feel honored.
