Depends on the person, and their weight. You don't want to start them off with something that is mixed with something too heavy or strong. I prefer wine most times, but I do like an occasional Cape Cod(if you like Cranberry juice, this is a good drink), because the alcohol used in it isn't very strong. I don't drink it fast, I enjoy the taste and I don't get drunk off of them that quickly.

I would try something like a Smirnoff Twisted (they come in alot of different flavors) or maybe a TGI Fridays Mudslide (it tastes alot like chocolate milk - very yummy). Both of those a really good and for me it takes alot of them to get me drunk. So for a first time drinker they would be a good choice. Hope this helps...have fun and be safe!

I don't know what you mean by "safe". Any alcoholic drink consummed in large quantity is not going to be "safe" (and any in moderation should be fine).
If you mean a more appealing drink to a novice palate then wine coolers, pale ales, mixed sweet drinks such as hawiian punch or cream drinks such as kahlua and cream might work well.

Try an amaretto sour...it has a cherry almond taste and it's not too strong. Or try a midori sour....it's the only thing I drink when out salsa dancing....it's like the amaretto sour but the liqour in this one is midori and it's a melon flavor...kind of like cantalope or honeydew. Irregardles...they're both very yummy not too strong drinks!

Are you the legal drinking age? If so drink a wine cooler. Or some cheap wine.

I would suggest scotch, if you can drink that you can drink anything. On the other hand it might make you want to never drink again which would be agood thing.
