ipod error cannot update, file is missing. have restored and restarted and nothing helps. new ipod itunes 7?

have performed all suggested ideas. reformatted ipod, reinstalled itunes. nothing helps. any ideas out there?

Good idea to download and reinstall iTunes.

each from time to time this happens to me. once you plug on your iPod you've were given to open iTunes your self, and then manually sync your iPod. There should be a button you may click to attempt this. it may artwork after that!
