Some of us like me know theres no god. For example I was on my way to work and i sneezed and someone in the street said god bless you and i said what are you f ucking retarded

It doesn't matter if you believe in God or not because he believes in you and I have confidence that as a Christian God hears my prayers and will bless you weather you believe or not.

God Bless You started hundreds of years ago. Back then they thought that the soul left the body in the act of sneezing. They said God Bless You to keep you safe from evil. Obviously, most people who use this saying don't even internalize the Christian connotation. It's cliche at this point in time. Rise above it dude.

Long ago ppl thought that a person's soul rushed out of the body when one sneezed. They surmised that unless someone quickly said "GOD bless you" that it would not come back in.
So there is the history of the thing now to you. If you think you "know" that there is no GOD then why would it offend you for someone to say that to you? Wouldn't it be the same as saying "may the easter bunny bless you."?
Maybe the truth is that you KNOW that GOD does exist but for you to admitt that you would have to face where you are in relationship to HIM. HE is real and HE only wants to love you,(although I can't fathom why)
It dosen't seem to bother you to insult those of us who Know that GOD is real so what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

A long time ago, when people sneezed, the spirit was thought to be blown out the body, so God bless you became common place. All of us are different and in pain, it's not real hard to be kind.

I as quickly as asked a similar question to a number of human beings. yet do have faith it could have some thing to do with the two organic and/or non secular reasons to sneeze. the individuals I asked did no longer be attentive to why they pronounced "God bless you" after somebody sneezed. If that is out of no the place once you sneeze then it somewhat is a non secular reason. yet whilst that is pepper inflicting it then you certainly be attentive to what this is.

If you "know" that God doesn't exist, then why does it bother you so much when someone says "God bless you" after you sneeze?
I mean, if you're so confident in your belief in the nonexistence of God, someone saying "God bless you" shouldn't faze you in the slightest.
But the fact that it rattles you so much tells us something. It tells that you're either a raging religiophobe, or that you're in real doubt as to God's alleged nonexistence.

Ready, heres the REAL ANSWER to this one. In the medievil people there was a plague called the Black Death or Black Plague that occured in Europe during the 1340s. Many thought that one gets the disease though a demon enterring his/her body. Remeber, people in this time period where panicking and had little medical advnacements. Anyways, it was beleive that when one sneezed, that individual was vulnerable to have a demon entering via mouth. So God Bless You was a way to keep a demon from entering one's body.

This is an old chinese custom,they believe when you sneeze your soul(you have one) comes out of your body for a split second and when it does the devil (he wants your soul) will get your soul if not blessed.And yes little boy I believe God can even bless you because he loves you just as much as he loves me,I just dont make fun of him!!!!!!!!!!!
