Sure looks like it, from the commercials that I'm watching. I have rarely seen one that didn't involve a crash.

Well, those commercials are only showing that the VW Jetta and Passat are safe cars. ie: they both have side curtain air bags standard and front side thorax airbags standard as well.

It's not saying VWs get into a lot of accidents.

For the most part it is the driver. Not the car. The only problem that volkswagon has had with anything accident related has been poor quality tires that they did put on thier vehicles. The tires had a very low traction rating and did cause sliding in wet road conditions. But no it is the driver not the car.

contact VW in America bout it or go to the dealers.

What I have noticed is that they are showing how their car is in an accident. It has rated high on being good and handling a serious hit from the side. I use I lived in Germany for years and they were really good on the autobahn.

Not always, it reall depends on the driver actualy. If it's like a chinesse driver then yes they wil get in a lot of acidents.

Big companies usually have such problems. It is because of the large number of cars they make. The concentration of the designers becomes disturbed.
