She might be trying to let you down easily. My suggestion is to just lay off, keep in touch. If you're really interested in this girl and are a truly good guy, she'll come to you eventually. Otherwise, just chill out, be cool, and don't push the issue. Chances are you guys are already great friends so just be patient.
That or invite her over to a party and with a couple of drinks see how she really feels. Don't act on it, but seeds of doubt can be spread.

do nothing. She is messing with your head and wants you as a safety net to make her boyfriend jealous. Stay away from girls like this you will be better off finding one that isn't so attached.

She has a boyfriend- dont get tangled in that mess. If she liked you enough, she would have one! Walk away and look for someone who isnt attached.
