1995-1997 dodge avenger. nice lookin car for a good price. american made so parts are cheap and available.

I would suggest a Miata or a Honda Del Sol. Not too many 5k cool cars.
A Miata will be convertible, it is a chic car, and you'll find a bunch in red.
A Del Sol is a limited car, unlimited amount of aftermarket, has t-tops and will be reliable.
When all else fails use the 5k as a downpayment and buy a Civic Ex. Reliable, Economic, and sporty.

you won't find to much sporty car for that price so you can try the ford mustang but don't get one older then 1998 and so you can get a nice supra from like 1987 to 1992 will be a litle hard for that price but try to get one with low milege but that's a good car that can give you good ferformance.....or try a toyota celica 93 to 98........

to me nothing sexier than a woman driving a 5.0 mustang with a 5 speed transmission, convertible most preferred, as long as she can handle the car and not look like a ninny. i don't know why but a women that can drive a standard transmission turns me on. but be careful , they are fast , great on dry roads, not so great on wet or snow, lose traction easily because of power to weight ratio on wet roads, great cars if u know cars
