It is hard to say. When is the last time you changed the sheets on your bed? How old is your mattress? You should actually vacuum your mattress once a month. This helps remove dead skin and hair from your bed. If you do keep up with the above, you should look into any possible lotions you may be using. Perhaps your allergic to it.
I hope this helps you.

Do you have any dogs cats birds ect? It could be flea bites... if not it may be small mites that bite you but wash your bedding and vaccumm the bed very good and perhaps sprinkle something called BORAX on the bed before you use the VAC and let it sit for a little while.. Borax is safe its mostly used as a laundry aid you can get it at wal-mart

Hope very seriously it isn't bedbugs. If you have been traveling lately and stayed in a hotel you could have brought them home. In some cities, such as New York, they are widespread. They have made a comeback due to the ban on some of the harmful pesticides. They bite in a series. Do an Internet search on them for advice.

You could also have shared your bed with a spider. Just wash your sheets & see how it goes. This can happen to anyone.
