Consider the scripture from Prophet Morrison's "The End" revelation:

This is the end, beautiful friend
This is the end, my only friend
The end of our elaborate plans
The end of everything that stands
The end

No safety or surprise
The end
I'll never look into your eyes again

Can you picture what will be
So limitless and free
Desperately in need of some stranger's hand
In a desperate land

Lost in a Roman wilderness of pain
And all the children are insane
All the children are insane
Waiting for the summer rain
There's danger on the edge of town
Ride the King's highway
Weird scenes inside the gold mine
Ride the highway West, baby...

As you can see, Prophet Morrison is showing us a glimpse of the afterworld and in order to get there you must "ride the highway west".

Being that these words are more lyrical and profound than those found in other religious books, we cant deny the divine authorship.

Morrison was not a prophet, he was God.

He's dead now, so God is dead too. But the Lizard King is immortal.

He was just a pretty good--and somewhat famous American poet in the 20th century.
What's great about Morrison is that he found rock in the 60s as a vehicle for his written word...which he really did strike it lucky, since Poets in general in the modern era are old hat.

Prophet? As much as Emerson I suppose....but naaaaah.

Jim Morrison was not a prophet. He was, however, a mediocre poet.

Morrison was a sad, confused, drunk, very talented human being...but I think not a prophet, last and final or otherwise
