I think its because he's jealous but not sure. They are siblings...6yrs old. both male, It begun about a year and half ago. After I spend time with Sammy, Riley may go over and Mount him and grab his neck and bite him. From that position Sam can't get lose. Riley may just wake up from sleeping and go over and bite him in the same position. It's gotten so bad it really doesn't matter what happens to cause him to do it. Sam is a more passive cat. I've tryed to spend more time with Riley...why does he do this...he is nuetered. They both are.

that's just the way cats play or play fight, nothing to worry about, if the other one was really getting hurt he would fight back.

It's all about dominance and being the one in control. My two males do it all the time.The older one does it every night to the younger one just to show him he is still in charge. Being neutered does not fix all animal behavioral problems.

they are fighting to see if who will be the Boss and marking territory.

maybe his nails are too long and iritating and taking out of his brother i had same problem
