Yes, but does he have the powers the Catholic church gave him. Is he the bogey man. That would be a no. Is he even a fallen angel? In the book of Job god asks Satan to tempt his servant etc. Anyway the story does not have the sound of an angel who has lost god or is imprisoned. Just sounds like his job is to test man. Is he testing you?

I don't think so. 'Satan' in Job was originally written with a lower-case 's'...In the Garden, the temptor was a snake and the ONE mention of a Lucifer (I read here on Y!A) actually describes a Babylonian king. I think he was made up by the Christians so he could take the blame and they could claim God was the good guy.

yes, satan used to be an angel. he got jealous and wanted to be better than God. So God kicked him out of heaven. so yes he is real and hes the one that temps u to do somehting that u know is wrong. then u pray about it, then God will kick him out of ur heart, and help u with ur temtation(s) God Bless♥

yes his name was Lucifer a cherub angel of heaven his beauty caused pride and he wanted to be worshiped as God and he still doess but he is below man God favors man kind over the angels he is a creation of God, but he is not like God he is as real as you or me
