the hundi accent used to cost about 80000 new can i still get a new car than cheep?

I remember when the first Hyundai Excel arrived in the US in the mid 80s.... cost $4995 brand new.

Right now, the cheapest I've seen is a stripped Kia Rio for $5995 (manual). Cheapest with automatic and reasonablly equipped is the Suzuki Forenza, another Korean made car, for $8995.

In California it is still the base model KIA Rio that retails for about $7995. Other states may differ.

I don't know where you are located so this may or may not help you, but a base model Chevy Aveo new runs about 8000.

the Hyundai Accent is still the cheapest I know...

bought one for my daughter in "95..$10.200 all the bells & whistles...100,00 mi warranty..self tuning motor...

a real bargain....
