Different things that I have read/heard have different reports, but it seems that most commonly, they are considered 7 human years each for the first 2 years, and 4 years for each additional year. So your dog would be 55 years old in human years if this is true. Also, dogs normally die around the age of 10-12, although they can live until older than 20!!!
Good Luck, and I hope that this answer is right. As I said before, answers vary.

Well, most people say 1 human year=7 dog years, so it's 84, but if it's really healthy or unhealthy, that may make her older or younger. for the best answer go to dogage.com
it will help you determin an aproxamite age at how old she is. it's a great website. i found out my dog is younger than she really is (withch means she will live longer)
Good Luck finding the answer (: !!!!!!!!

Well, NO ONE know's for sure but, thay say "1 year for a person = 7 years for a dog."
So, if she is 12...... do the math. 12 times 7!
= 84!

Hi, I found a site that puts dog years in categories by their human age plus their weight. Sounds right to me since the smaller breed dogs live longer than the larger dogs. for a 12 year old dog weighing 0-20lbs-64 years old. 21-50lbs-69 years old. 51-90lbs-77 years old and over 90lbs-93years old. I hope this helps.

If she's twelve in dog years, then she's 12/7 years old in human years by the folk tradition, making her a 1.7 year old puppy. =p
Methinks you got the terms backwards.

Normally 7 years for every human year. If she is a large breed dog she will age quicker.
