I've been advised to use the medicine ball for ab conditioning (ie: having someone drop the ball on the abs) and was wanting to know how this should be done. Like how high should you drop it from and should this be done while you hold a crunch or a leg lift, etc.

Thanks

here is what I recommend if you have a boxing ring lay on the out side of the ring apron flat on your back with your hands folded across your chest like your dead have your trainer stand over you with the ball make sure that the surface of the ball that will be making contact with your abs is flat just take the ball and bound it on the canvas first this will make it flat then have your trainer stand over you and he should warn you when he is about to start pounding your midsection about 15 hits 1 minute rest 15 hits or what you feel comfortable with I use to get hit so hard that it would shake the whole gem p.s you don,t have to hold a crunch just don,t over do it take your time on this and build up your abs to take it are you a boxer there are other execises you can do with a medison ball and with boxing gloves
