There are pros and cons to smoking marijuana and unless you have a chronic medical condition it is probably not a good idea to smoke it everyday. However, its bad effects are probably no worse than the bad effects of using alcohol everyday or over-eating everyday. The issue of legality is a separate one of course.

The long-term effects of smoking marijuana include effects on the brain, lungs, immune system, and cancer. Brain effects include problems with concentration, memory, and doing complex tasks like driving (marijuana is often involved in motor vehicle crashes). Effects on the lung include decreased function, and risk of emphysema. Smoking marijuana lowers general immunity to infections. Because of the high tar content of marijuana smoke, there is increased risk of cancers of all the organs exposed to it, from the mouth to the lungs. Also, marijuana use in pregnant women is linked to abnormal fetal growth, and problems with behavior, sleep, language, intelligence, memory, and attention in their children. Lastly, long-term use may lead to addiction, with its wide variety of problems.

Marijuana has many beneficial effects for cancer sufferers including stimulating appetite, pain control, improved sense of well being, and nausea control.

I hope this helps.

Its really not that bad. I mean, besides the lung/throat/mouth cancer issue. It's way better than cigarettes (again, not counting the aforementioned three issues) since it usually doesnt have any chemicals in it, and it is naturally grown.

As for the memory and brain thing?....well, I would say that depends on how long you smoke it every day for. If it's up to 5 years...not so bad. More than that, and you MAY find yourself with problems (it honestly depends on the person). I honestly know five people who smoke it every day and are really successfull, smart, articulate, healthy, and generally well-rounded...

Oh, and I think lifestyle has a lot to do with it. If you smoke it all day and dont do much else, probably not so good, and your health will deteriorate. If, on the other hand, you lead a pretty normal life, get a moderate amount of excercise, and maintain a relatively healthy diet, but happen to smoke some of the good stuff every day, you've got no worries.

In general it is not ok to smoke every day. The health affects on your lungs are a lot like tobacco if you smoke that much (minus some of the severity due to all of the impurities in tobacco). The part that your going to want to worry about though is the lingering affects on your brain. Although smoking marajuana does not perminantly affect your brain. It does cause memory loss, along with the obvious problems during a high. If you quit smoking weed the memory loss will go away, but depending on how long you've been a smoker it could take a decade or more to get back to normal.

I wouldn't suggest it. However, it won't do a lot of damage physically. It won't really kill all your brain cells like some people say, however - if you smoke large amounts and daily for a long period of time... you do run chances of future brain damage, and becoming a "burn out." It takes more pot than most people think to do this but doing it everyday, you'll run that chance.

If it's organic marijuana, it won't be nearly as bad in the future. And chances are you could actually feel better, but chemically tampored pot is really bad for you and 110% worse than organic. Remember that when knowing your resources, etc.

Smoking Marijuana is generally bad for you, unless it is for medicinal uses.

Studies have shown that long term use can effect the memory centres of the brain. Other studies have shown blood flow to certain other regions of the brain reduce too.

When smoking it, there may be other substances in the spliff. For example, if it is tobacco, then you share all the other risks of cigarette smoking.

In short, you really shouldn't smoke Marijuana unless prescribed by your Doctor, the long term effects are not worth it!

There have been no studies that have shown any of these things to happen. All Marijuana side effects are short term. There are studies showing problems using papers and metal pipes, but if you use a glass pipe, there are no long term health effects that have been prooven. Dont beleive the propaganda.

SURE! As long as you are working, paying your bills, taking care of your responsibilities and don't do stupid stuff... like getting caught.
However, smoking is bad... use a vaporizer.
