OK, I won't give you rubbish. People sleep together because there is only enough room for them sleep together in any given space.
Now that is literal.
I suspect that you are really asking why people have sex. That is because we are reprogrammed to do so. it is a matter of hormones. We must have children to keep the human race going. Therefore we have sex, it is the only way to have children.

people think they can invent love by having sex.. doesn't usually work that way..
others do it because they think it will boost their self-esteem.
others do it because they want to feel shameful of themselves.. a form of depression.
others do it simply because they are horny and prefer a partner instead of masturbation.
other's do it because they really are in love and enjoy having intimate fun with each other and/or because they want to have a family and make babies..
think that just about covers it..
