I have been using mozillla firefox for the past year and it has worked pretty well, better than IE. But recently i have had problems loading any websites, to fix this i had to shut down and the reboot and firefox would work fine! However now my firefox wont open at all, i have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling but that hasnt worked! When i click on the shortcut on my desktop, nothing happens. I also downloaded IE 7, but to my surprise it doesnt work well, IE will close down without a warning! Right now im using IE 7 with out add ons! I also know that there is no problem with my dsl since i can still use my IM!
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

I have uninstalled it and reinstalled!! when i uninstalled it, said that it had to shut down mozilla first! but the browser wasnt open! i think that it is running its just that my computer is not dispalying it!

You will need to start firefox in safe mode ( By going to start->programs->Mozilla Firefox->Fire Fox (Safe Mode). If it does start up, there should be a promt to reset Firefox to defaults/diable addons etc. Do that and try starting firefox in regular mode again and it should work.

Download Firefox 2.01 and install it: a new version will probably fix your problem.

If you are having problems like I was having, then re-install Firefox. delete the old one out of your system and then re-install.
