Your point doesn't quite hit the mark. Inside a steel box is steel. Something has to be on the inside. Otherwise, how do you differentiate the outside from the inside? Either way, omnipresence refers to everything, so excluding the box and anything outside of it creates a huge flaw in your question.
There is no such thing as a true vacuum. Temperatures of absolute zero would need to be reached in order to remove all energy/mass from a particular space and for a vaccum to occur. Gravity would not be present, because gravity is a form of energy.

There is no such thing as complete emptiness. Omnipresent would mean "being everywhere". Nothing is absolutely everywhere. Whatever's in the box would only be present in that box, it would not be everywhere, so would not be omnipresent.
