She is perfectly fine. The ideal weight for a lady of her height/age is 101 as calculated by the Robinson formula. So she's right around the ideal weight, which is extremely good.

I think she is a little overweight but not that bad. With some good exercise and some tweeking of her diet it is possible to get her weight to a better range than it is now. Plus at this age weight control is almost as easy as it'll ever be seeing that her parents and/or herself can enroll her in some sort of recreational league in the area or join a school team if there are any.

no. Not overweight at all.
I would wait until age 18 before trying to find out if she is the correct weight for her height. It fluctuates a lot at her age, and it hasn't stabilized yet.

No she is fine and if she does have a little tummy tell her to cut out some of the junk she eats, only some not all junk and some situps and she will be fine.

She's not. Perfectly good. If she was lower it would be underweight. Take it from a fellow 8th grader.

that sounds perfectly normal to me, but if she needs further evidence, you could probably do a BMI Index to prove it. i forget exactly how it is, but i'm sure if you google it, it'll come up.
