If you start out as friends and let things happen on there own then you can have a true long lasting relationship. When ppl are looking for something they usually don't find it. If it's meant to be then it will. Keep an open mind, be yourself at all times, think about the other person,think of ways to not let things get boring, show interest in what the other persons likes are, change is always good. If you go to the movies all the time, rent one instead stay home and make popcorn, or makeup a cheese tray. There are so many ways to keep it interesting.Look online for different things to do, experience some new things together. I could go on for a long time. I had 30yrs with the same man. well, me and my guy live 2 hrs apart. we've been together for a little more than a yr and a half. the longest we've been without seeing each other, is 3 months. to keep things interesting, it's always fun, if after being apart for 3 months, the two of you are still hot for each other---and have been hot for each other the whole time that the two of you were apart.
to stay this way, i just think about him 24/7, looking back on past times spent with him, and start imagining what "interesting" things he and i could be doing if were together right then. because me and my guy don't get to see each other all that often, it doesn't really matter to me what we do---i just want to be with him, in his arms. i cherish the time we spend together, and everyday, wish that i could be with him right then. other thing that keeps it interesting, is that he tickles me---everytime, b/c he knows i love it---which usually ends up with us making out, him on the top, me on the bottom.
i can't say what to do to keep it longlasting, because i don't know. me and my guy are just together---i guess it's our love for each other that's made the relationship longlasting. after a little more than a yr and a half, he's now like my best friend---except, a whole lot more than that. his voice above all others, cheers me up, when i'm down or upset. i'd to say, to keep the relationship longlasting, you just have to have a whole lot of love.

You Need to change things up! Change can be good! Switch things up, different sexual positions, fun fruit games with sex! Space is a plus! Giving 50/50 in the relationship.Understand each others needs.Compromising, TRUST, loyalty.Being secure and understand where you stand in that relationship is always good to have! AND MOST OF ALL YOU HAVE TO HAVE LOVE! LOVE WILL PULL YOU THROUGH THE UNIMAGINABLE! After a long time, you start to get comfortable and forget all the little things you do with eachother, so do that, don't nag him all the time, let him know you think he is the most important guy (which he should be), let him feel needed (even though you know how to do it), and let him think he is right some of the times.
