God created us to have emotions, and so God also has emotions.
In the bible I recall certain verses, one writes God is jealous if we have other gods in our life we are more interested in. Another writes that God was grieved in his heart (that it never came to his mind for them to do this) when his own people sacrificed their children to devil cults. We are to grow in trust & obedience in Christ and not grieve the Holy Spirit who has sealed us unto the day of redemption. Jesus put on humanity and felt our infirmities.
God is all knowing in that God is much smarter than us. But peoples sins have separated them from God. In that when we are restored in relationship with God through Grace & Faith, God searches us and knows our inner most being more than we do. God also has a purpose & plan that will come to pass. But in that God likes us all to be different (unique / diverse) and make decisions, we don't always do what Gods plan & purpose is. It is called sin.
God is slow to anger, quick to mercy and compassion. So, God doesn't react, God responds and of course disciplines His own. God blesses us when we don't know it sometimes. But God wants us to ask for things, so when God gives, we can thank. In all things, give thanks to God for this pleases God. God doesn't like whining or doubt. Without faith (that God Is), it is impossible to please God.
Also, we reap what we sow. So if we sow to the Spirit of God / Gods Word, we reap health & life. So if we sow slanders, lies, greed, etc. we reap sickness and death.
Us reaping what we sow is Gods way to teach us our mistakes. I think this makes us more interesting to God.
Also, God loves us unconditionally. But, His love is very deap, high, wide, etc. and through Christ, we come to know how great His love for us is. Nothing can take us out of His hand.

God does not have an emotion, with the aid of fact emotion is a reaction to an exterior stimulus. God does not reply to something, He wills each and every thing; issues ensue with the aid of fact of God. Love as utilized to God isn't an emotion. this is a supernatural act of God's will and lots greater.

Think of it this way. Does the clay teach the potter? No, and likewise, no human thought teaches infinite Mind anything, for God knows all and is all. God does not experience what the "clay" does (we are the clay), therefore the human emotions only exist (seemingly) in the human level of thought, and He never reacts to that as it it were real and that it actually challenged Him.

God does not have emotions. These are anthropomorphisms used in the Bible to express the providence of God. Why not state it like it is? Theology is a complex subject. I could go into a detailed account of how the uncreated energy of God initiates and carries out change by applying form to matter in accordance with the pre-determined potential essence of the subject, creating a vortex of united energies as the individual adds his/her own self-generated energies to accomplish a lesser strata of the same potential essence. Isn't easier to just say that God was pleased when I did a good deed?
In order to understand the Bible, you have to keep one thing in mind: there is no similarity between Uncreated (God) and Created (Matter). All positive statements about God are anthropomorphic, applying human concepts to something that is beyond human comprehension. We say that God is angry because we reap the consequences of our actions. We say that God willed an event because that event takes place. We say that God is jealous because some people ascribe inaccurate characteristics to his nature. We say that God is sad because our actions do not contribute to the final state of all things.

The people that made up the gods were very emotional, thereby giving the gods emotions as well. For the gods to care about us, they must be like us, if we are really all that important, we must be like the gods. Self-important logic.

The real question is why do WE have emotions. God created us in HIS image, so whatever reason you put behind emotions is really becuase we got it FROM God.

He is magic. Don't you believe in magic. If you believe in God you have to believe nothing is imposable with God. He can create a rock imposable for him to lift and then lift it. God can do the imposable. xx
