Buried in the report are the expected recommendations to allow corporate (meaning mostly US-UK) control over energy resources.

The Baker - Hamilton reports are self serving! Especially the part where corporate control is suggested, over energy resources. Do they maintain their own security in such matters?

Having Syria and Iran helping out, is like putting the fox in charge of the hen house!

The energy provision is the best part of the deal. Their recommendations are the most childish examples of dribble that I have ever seen. I am surprised they did not mandate a plate of warm cookies with it. Are they that naive or are they that stupid. That we can solve or problems by making nicey with the Iranians and Syrians; the very people who are funding and training the terrorists.

I am also surprised at the offer of the Golan Heights to Syria. Was Israel consulted. The idea would have to bring peace since the last time Israel gave up land for peace, that land was used as a launching ground for new attacks.

This report is a big steaming heaping pile of nothing.

ya, that report was a big disapointment. I thought they were going to actually come up with some good suggestions. They didn't. What a waste of time and money that was. The report has pretty much fizzled out. You don't even hear much about it anymore.
