I'm interested in getting a plasma or large screen TV of some kind. I am just wondering how it works. What does it cost, etc.... I would just call them but I don't feel like being harassed and continuously pressured into it by a salesperson. So if anyone has delt with them and wouldln't mind filling me in I'd really appreciate it. Thanks

So is this more for someone with bad credit? Because I have several credit cards, including a best buy card. Would I simply be better off buying a TV with that card and making payments?

They overcharge for the item. You pay weekly or monthly payments with no credit check and etc. In the end you end up paying a lot more for the item. You have to give them references ( who if you are 1 day late they will call and harass if they can't get ahold of you) My suggestion is to save up whatever you would pay for the payment on the television until you have enough to buy what you want. It may be awhile before you can buy what you want but definitely worth the wait. You won't be paying too much and having the hassle of dealing with them.

No, stay away, far, far away. You will pay 2 to three 3 more for the same item you would pay for on-line or at a department store. If you would use a little patience and maturity, you would go without and SAVE for the item, then purchase it. More likely than not--the item you will be "renting" will be used. You will also be pressured into buying "benefits plus" which is $3.21 extra a week, which is just pure profit for the store. The employees there will laugh at how stupid you are for "renting" there after you walk out. Be smart, and don t go to places like this.
