Along time ago a relative made these cookies to die for and they had Jello instant vanilla pudding in the recipe. I came across it once but misplaced it. You have to lesson flour or sugar or something though, I think. Anyone know?

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

"Everybody wants this recipe when I take them in for a carry-in. You can use any flavor pudding you like for this recipe."
INGREDIENTS:
4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 cups butter, softened
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 (3.4 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 cups semisweet chocolate
chips
2 cups chopped walnuts
(optional)

DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Sift together the flour and baking soda, set aside.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in the instant pudding mix until blended. Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Blend in the flour mixture. Finally, stir in the chocolate chips and nuts. Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
3. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Edges should be golden brown.

INGREDIENTS
1 cup butter, softened

1/4 cup white sugar
1 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add pudding mix, eggs and vanilla. Combine flour and baking soda; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Fold in chocolate chips.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned

Was it the mention of cookies, girl scouts, pudding or all three that got the guys above me excited? If I send you my address will you mail me a cookie? Hell, or pudding, just keep your already eaten girl scout.

I would probably lessen the sugar by half the amount of jell-o pudding you put in the mix since the mix is very sweet itself. So, if you put a cup of jell-o mix in than cut out half a cup of sugar.
