Genysis datastream shows ASD ON/OFF momentarily while engine is cranking, but stays in OFF position after extended cranking. No fire at plugs, fuel pump is ON. THEFT ALARM comes on also, after extended cranking. Please help. Very nice car, wife very angry. ( I work at a mechanic shop, and have access to diagnostic equipment, but I am stumped. The thing has a long list of TSB's. Ran fine up until 3 mos ago)

You need to re-ask your question, and this time tell us just what ASD is, and what TSB's are. I have worked on vehicles for years and have no idea what you are talking about. Matter of fact I'm a certified master mechanic, and I have looked in all my code books under the acronyms for these terms, and I can't find any that even remotely resemble these.

Change the ASD relay. If that doesn't work, check the ECM because the ECM controls the ASD.
