He has just recently gotten divorced. I told him I'm not just a piece. He says he wants the whole package. We have been friends for 6 months and he just recently has been asking me out.
I like him but does he really like me. Can he really have that much going on that he stands me up 3 times??

Sounds like a loser to me. He's obviously up to hanky panky elsewhere...and he KNOWS you will be waiting for him and ready to forgive as always...dump him. He doesn't sound trustworthy ONE BIT.

tell him next time he doesn't show to don't call again unless he is absolutely certain he has free time to devote to you. Unless he is a Dr. or some kind of high ranking smuckity smuck attached to a pager he's full of it. Even the President gets a day off with his family. Just think what life would be like with someone who is on call all the time. This guy doesn't have a life, maybe that's why he is divorced.

Oh honey, this guy has three strikes against him already:

1) Recently divorced
2) Asked you out and didn't show three times
3) Doesn't respect you

Even though you like this guy, he's not just that into you. You should find a guy who likes you and will treat you with a LOT of respect! Right now you're showing desperation and there's so many other fantastic people out there.

So respect yourself and kick this guy to the curb and never speak to him again!

Sorry, I do not mean to insult, but.....you either have low self esteem, or you are retarded. (no offense...please?) .Come on! The man stands you up 3 times? You ever hear the saying, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me?! Shame on you 2 fold.
The guy is a real loser that is for certain.
It is ok, this is what you do:
Continue to pretend you are his friend, and wait when the time is right. You are going to get revenge for insult. Get your friends on it too, I mean really humiliate him. Hey, here's and Idea, drag his ex into it too. Be creative. Remember, revenge is a dish best served cold, but in your case not too cold! If you are truly successful, he will cry. Good luck anyhow.

Take it as a game and you play a game by starting off with a reception now take it all the way down the field for a touchdown. U find yourself a sidekick and you began to play the guy that just got divorced and i bet he'll be begging for you before it's all over then say," You Lost!"

That's a question you should ask yourself. Not everyone can determine the right answer. Even though it seems he is asking you out to get that piece, and everytime you refuse, he's just blowing you off for the next time he wants to ask to see if you'll change your mind. Don't keep letting it happen, and find someone who really wants you and not just your pieces.

How do you know he's gotten divorced? This sounds like a player whose "window of opportunity" closes at the last minute.

Tell him that he had his chance. You are too good for him.
Once and a while an emergency happens, but 3 times in a row? Nope.

Lol, sounds like my ex. Dump the bum, 3 times really should be the limit. Stop holding your breath.

Yes.
No.
Maybe so.

What are his excuses and do they make sense. You've known him for 6 months. Did these excuses arise before he started asking you out?
