I have 2 children both boys, one is 6 and the other is 3. I know i am not fat, but i weigh 139 pounds and would like to lose more weight. I am fine with the size i am right now but i want my flat stomach back. Does anyone know anything that actually works? I am putting in a swimming pool this year and i want to look good in it. I have the tummy pouch and would love to see it gone. Any ideas? I am very self concience and I am still young and want my body back! Is it possible?

You need an all over plan that is easy and can be incorporated into a busy life, I expect. If you make a few life style changes you should be able to lose some weight and tone up within the time frame you have set for yourself. This is a system that has worked well for me, our daughters, and several friends have also been successful with it.

1. Eat three nutritious meals and three snacks everyday. Cut out junk food. You probably need about 1500 to 1800 calories a day. Many people make the mistake of not eating enough when they try to lose weight and then become discouraged.

2. Drink lots of water - at least 8 big glasses as day. Lots of water is essential. Stop drinking soda and other drinks with useless calories. Eat fresh fruit instead of fruit juices - the juices are very high in calories.

3. Begin a simple weight lifting program at home or at a gym. Ordinary household items (tins of soup, for example) can actually serve as weights for beginners. Buy yourself a good weight lifting book for women. Actually the "dummies" series of books has done a rather good one.

4. Walk, walk, walk. Buy yourself a pedometer and aim for 10,000 steps a day.

5. Record everything you eat and all your exercise to make sure you have a "calorie deficit". Two of the sites I've included will help you do that. Basically buring more calories than you take in leads to weight loss. You need a deficit of 3500 calories to lose one pound.

6. If you drive, do less of it and park at the back of the parking lot instead of close to the door. Always use stairs - never the elevator or escalator.

7. A mini stepper is an easy piece to equipment to have at home and gives great results. I bought mine at a second hand store for $4. even if you use it for a minute or two several times a day it can make a big difference.

I hope these thoughts help. You can do this. Good luck with it.

Im not to sure about this pooch you are talking about personally. Ive had 2 children so far and now waiting for my 3rd one to arrive. Due date is in 24 days.

Ive never been very big first of all, i look like im about 6 months along now, so I never had a pooch with either of them, i was just flat regardless afterwards. God blessed me with that.

Ive watched on tv and heard from friends that you can never lose it, only by having plastic surgery done to get it removed.

Tha would be your best bet, expensive one, but your best bet. Otherwise a healthy diet and exercise can help somewhat with that process.

I did Pilates for 2 months and it worked really great, I lost a total of 15 pounds with that and just watching and writing down what I eat, no specific diet just writing it down to make a concious effort to eat better.. Been meaning to get back into it.

I was told that that tummy pooch does not go away unless you have a tummy tuck. I had my son 4yrs ago and up until I got pregnant with my daughter, it had not gone down at all. I had lost all my pregnancy weight plus 20lbs after my son and I still had the pooch.

Try the Denise Austin Video "Bounce back after Baby" it targets all the right areas and really helped me after my baby. I still use it along with her kick boxing video now too! Good luck!

Only 139? Be proud of that!

Just tone up with some crunches and you will look like a supermodel in no time.
