Yes I do believe in GOD. Now, to answer your other question.
The kind of fighting, arguing and wars you speak of come from man's philosophy which produces nothing good ( this happens when the Bible is ignored completely or is twisted to fit a personal agenda).
Would I die for what I believe? Well,... I fallow what the Bible lays out for me to do, this means it depends on the scenario. We must choose are battles wisely. Jonny_Light . . . :)
- THIS IS MY SHORT ANSWER
SENSE NOT EVERYONE HAS THE TIME TO READ ALL THE LONG EXHAUSTING RESPONSES, BUT IF YOU ARE THE KIND OF PERSON THAT LIKES DETAILS THAN I WILL CONTINUE BELOW. (I LOVE TO GIVE DETAILS :) ) IF NOT, I HOPE MY SHORT ANSWER HELPED DEFINE THINGS FOR YOU -
Sense I fallow the Bible devoutly it seems to be an issue of choosing my battles wisely. For example: if someone tries to persuade me toward a faith or idea I know is a lie, than I simply say "sorry, I have a different faith and don't wish to debate it with you" ; however, if someone asks me a question about my faith or attempts to discredit it, than I am obligated to answer as unconfrontational as possible; (1 Peter 3:15 . . . But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asked you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear . . . ) ; lastly, if I offer information to someone about my beliefs, and they are unwilling to listen, than I simply leave them alone ( Matthew 10:14 . . . And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. . . ). With these scenarios dieing would obviously be a silly wast of life GOD gave. In contrast, if I wer asked to Dennie my belief in Christ and adopt another faith THAN YES I WOULD GLADLY DIE (John 15:13 . . . Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. . . . ). I have no grater friend than Christ Jesus. And anything that tries to force me to stop worshiping Him is worth fighting over.

I believe in God and I would die for that. If I didn't, then I am just handing my soul and life over to whom ever felt that I needed to die if I stood up for my beliefs. Many religions and countries have survived today because they have people standing up for them and defending them.
I would not, however, pull some terrorist action over my beliefs. My God is in fact against harming others.

While I do not necessarily believe in God (but am open to the possibility), I would most certainly die for my beliefs if the occasion called for it. this of course does not mean I would die defending agnosticism, more that I would die for my own belief system should it be challenged accordingly...

I think we should able to disagree as much as we want, without resorting to violence. But as soon as you start supporting an ideology that infringes on freedom of others, you do not have the right to believe it. And yes, i would die for freedom just like millions of other people.
"Although i may not agree with what you say, ill defend to death your right to say it."

I would not die over the question "Is there or is there not a God?" But I also don't accept that it's just an idle question. One's faith and beliefs can affect how one lives his whole life.
As a Humanist, I would die to protect those I love and admire and to defend those freedoms I cherish and want my descendants to continue to enjoy after I die--such as freedom of expression (the right to speak one's mind), freedom of conscience (the right to choose and practice one's own faith or moral philosophy according to conscience), and the freedom to pursue happiness in one's own way.

I would die for what I belive. At least I would be sure that I would go to heaven! I knew a girl who was at church and she was a teenager and a boy her age asked her if she still belived in God and she said yes and he shot her. Shes proably up in heaven right now looking down upon us.

It's not like I would go fight for believing in God. I know I would never deny it, so yeah if a gun were point to my head or my life was threatend unless I deny him, I would die. We all will eventually. Although, i hope my life doesn't end that way.

Jesus believed in us...He died for us...
But death is not the end! Isaiah 26:19 "But your dead will live; their bodies will rise. You who dwell in the dust, wake up and shout for joy."
What does Jesus promise those who die? Hosea 13:14 "I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death."
Resurrection power comes from Christ. I Corinthians 15:21-22 "For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive."
Why did God give His Son to the world? John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."
