Coffee maker are intented to brew coffee. Invest in buying a tea pot or you can even buy a cup that has a strainer built in to it. These cups with strainer can be bought on some Asian store or you can find one online, the prices are from $3 and up. The perfect brewing for tea is that your water is about 160 degrees, you can tell by when the water has tiny bubbles along the edges. If you brew it hotter than 160 then you kill the flavenoids which is the component of the tea that is an anti oxidant

Yes you can. Brew plain water (once done) add your tea bags, allow 5 minutes and done. If using herb do the same but use a strainer to serve it. I do this all the time. Note: The longer you leave the tea bags or herb the stronger the taste as a result.

They're all right, but if you have tea leaves instead of a bag of tea, then use a coffee filter, and put the leaves in it, and pour water in the back just as if you're making coffee.

Just put the tea bags into the filter where you would usually put coffee. Then brew it the way you would usually brew coffee.

Put in as much water as you want and put 1 tea bag for every cup of water, or two, depending on how strong you like your tea. I make my iced tea this way. I make the whole pot...12 cups water, 12 tea bags and put it in my sun tea container and when cool I put it in the fridge.
