Many things can cause this. Since you are 14 it might be a good idea to look at the amount of your caffeine intake. Caffeine comes in soda, chocolate, and teas. Sugar can also play havoc with your nervous system. Many things contain sugar.
If you are under stress at home or school this could cause sleeplessness also.
It's best to do relaxing things before you go to bed. Watch a movie, take a hot bath, drink some warm milk. No chocolate milk or warm milk with sugar in it. Turkey also helps you sleep. When you wake up in the middle of the night don't lay there and worry about not being able to get back to sleep. This only keeps you awake. Try relaxing. One thing I do is I lay there and tell my feet to relax, and I feel them let go. Then I work my way up my body. Usually by the time I get to my stomach I'm asleep. If that doesn't work imagine winning the lottery and what you'd do with the money. Pretty soon you'll doze off. think about anything other than your not sleeping.
If this continues to happen tell your mom or dad and have them take you to the doctor. Not that anything is wrong, because we all seem to go through season of sleeplessness, but it's good to get things checked out. My best to you.

You could be stressed out. Do you worry you will over sleep?
You could also put up a camcorder to video tape you sleeping. If you have a timer you could have it start recording at 2:00 am as that is when you say you usually wake up. Most cams ahve a night vision mode.
It may help to determine if you have wrestless leg syndrom or if perhaps something loud happens in your neighborhood at that time like a train etc. Plus it is much much cheaper than a sleep clinic.
If you are a bit overweight or have diabetes - you could have sleep apnea. this is where you stop breathing while you sleep. This makes you wake up suddenly. There are really so many things it could be - and best to try the camcorder idea.
If you cannot determine what is by the tape - at least you will be armed with more information to give to the doctor.

There are many possible reasons why you are waking early.
1) Stress could do it, such as if your parents are going through a divorce or if you are taking a lot of hard classes in school.
2) Your food could be a reason as well, such as eating right before you go to bed or drinking too many caffeinated beverages like Coke, tea or coffee.
3) There are medical causes as well such as sleep disorders or apnea (which is when you stop breathing while asleep and your brain automatically "wakes up" so you can breath again.)
When you reflect on your situation, you should be able to figure out whether the problem is emotional, nutritional or physical. Keeping a journal may help you see patterns. Then, if the problem persists, you should see a professional, such as a doctor.

I think you keep waking up, cause' maybe you just want to get up! You're body is already awake a rarin' to go.
Maybe just because ya got alot of energy. I know you are young, 14, but...
The real surprise is, at any stage of life it is more normal to wake up like that than not!
I don't know who you are. I can tell you something I know about you, though! And you're family, at least as far as you're ancestors.
They woke up in the middle of the night too! Cause if they didn't you wouldn't be here for two reasons. Two very significant biological reasons.
They needed to wake up that way for protection, in the cave, from wild animals. Also, for sex.
Plain and simple, the people who didn't wake up much in the middle of the night didn't survive, or have progeny.
I just am saying, lets pick the easiest, logical explanation first.
Now if it really does bother you that much, then you can seek a different explanation that may lead to pharmaceuticals.
But much as the Pill industry might like us to believe, not everything has a medical or pharmacological explanation.
Thank heaven for that! So, if you're not sick, great! Cause who wants to be.
Or another thing, is there something you are hearing, and might not know about?
Sometimes we have more knowledge than we think we do.

What wakes you up? Noise? Need to go to the bathroom? If it is need to urinate, try to stop drinking fluids a couple of hours before you go to bed. Watch out for things that have caffeine like cola drinks, coffee, tea or chocolate. Eat reasonable sized meals for dinner.

Your subconscious self is probably trying to tell you something. Maybe you forgotten something? maybe you should be doing something? maybe you're too excited about waking up so you wake up early?
Then again, maybe you're just sleeping too early. If you're getting at least 6-8 hours of sleep, I'd say you're fine. Other than that, I'd say you're having troubles mentally, no I don't mean psychotic problems, just minor issues, like maybe you're worrying about something, or maybe you're angry, happy, or sad about something. Clear your head, and sleep at an appropriate time.

incredibly a controversy for many folk. in case you're no longer experiencing distinctive sexual intercourse, then you definately've got urges just to launch hormones and masturbate (replace). i choose for to propose doing that then, if it facilitates. in case you pass to mattress chuffed and drained/drained you wont have that individual same urge, till day after in the present day a minimum of. good success.
