it makes you stronger in some ways, weaker in others.

I'm sure it will make you stronger when someone breaks your heart because eventually you'll be able to look back and see all the mistakes that led up to whatever happened. You'll learn life lessons and can learn from what happened to you. I was abused by my father and I've turned out to be a better person and will never let a man treat me that way again. I think I am a much better person because I experienced that. Hope this helps!

having your heart broken is a horrible thing to go through but eventually things do start to get better and yes you can get stronger. it does take time though. also you will learn from any mistakes or experiences and you will move on in life and become a better person.
if it was you that had your heart broken then i hope it gets better for you and i wish you all the luck for the future.

It'll make you mentally stronger... not always emotionally stronger... but if you learn from others' mistakes (and sometimes your own), then you'll definitely know how to handle yourself and your guy in the next relationship. If you're hurt, give yourself time to heal; never jump for the next cute guy you see... you'll get hurt faster and you won't get stronger... When your head's clearer, you'll be a more confident person, and will be able to be "stronger" in future choices!

Breaking heart and hurting soul doesn't make any one stronger.
****See your heart and soul as a fine glass, every time someone throws it down you lose a piece which with time you glue back but is that glass as strong as it was before? Now it has a weak point, the more u are hurt the weaker u get.****

Stronger? No.
More prepared? Yes.
Smarter? Of course.
When someone breaks your heart you learn from that experience and will then apply it to all future situations. The good thing is that you can start over, however some scars won't heal.
Good luck, kiddo. :(

Physically stronger, no. However, it makes you wiser and you learn what to do to avoid getting hurt in the future. For example, after getting my heart broken in the past, I learned that I can't get involved with someone who doesn't want committment. I also learned that when a guy says he doesn't want committment, he means it and he's not going to change his mind. You can bet I stayed away from those guys after that!

I've been that several times. Making you stronger? That's a myth. But it will make you wiser and more cautious.
Use it as an opportunity to learn how to read people early on. Think about the early days, any early signs, etc.

Yes because your heart has to heal. Anything that you go thru that hurts you or causes pain makes you stronger. The next time you go thru something it doesnt seem as bad.

It will make you stronger cause now you know what not to do in the future. It makes u stonger but it will be harder to fall in love. Take you time and push others away. Just trust yourself.

Not stronger but better able to deal with the emotions and situation if you come across it again, since you've been there already.
