Just wondering how sensitive this crowd is to confrontation.

It is not rude to argue. BUT there is a time and a place for everything!!! At my daughters 13th birthday, my brother's girlfriend of 6 years threw a crying fit and changed the entire mood of the event. She is 32 and I was shocked that she could be so shallow and insensitive to my daughters special day. So, like I said there is a time and a place for everything.....choose your place and time wisely or you may end up looking like a selfish @ss!!!

I think it is rude to argue...if it is confrontational...but to stand up for what you believe or offer your opinion on something...that is a different thing all together. We all have different opinions and beliefs, what a boring world this would be if we didn't, but we don't have to push them on everyone else. Voice your opinion and let the other person voice his, then discuss the subject nicely. If it can't be debated nicely, drop it.

It's okay to disagree, what a boring world it would be if we all agreed. But there is a place and a right way to do so, just yelling and calling each other names is pointless.A private heated debate is okay, nobody ever wins an argument a debate can be agreed upon.DO NOT argue with Ashton as she loves to yell and act childish, she's never wrong and then wont admit it when she is.But she is my sons mommy and only 20 something.Just venting to you guys, thanks! No we are not together, thank God.

It's OK to "argue", but don't get to the point where you have to use personal insults in order to get your point across. Also, take turns in the discussion. Let the other person finish what they have to say, then if voice levels increase, lower your voice. That way that person will have to lower their voice to hear you. If all else fails and things get out of hand, change the subject, or better yet, excuse yourself before the insults start to fly.

Arguing can be done very politely and with much grace. One only need tailor the approach.

The problem on here is, that religion is a largely a matter of opinion but also a subject of great passion and is extremely personal, so it is easy to give offence and easy to take it.

I wouldn't say it was rude, simply pointless. If you know you are correct and have enough proof to back your claim to whatever the argument is about, then as a responsible adult it is your duty to make the other party aware of your side of the argument - that's all.

If the other party differs in opinion then that is their personal opinion, however if they refuse to listen due to ignorance then it is them being rude, just simply walk away

Why do you ask? Do you have a problem with me being right and you being wrong? If your willing to accept the fact you should pay for the vodka and hotel room this time, along with the fuzzy handcuffs.. Then there should be no arguing... now should there?! :)

I will argue if I really believe in something, or if I know I'm right!
