I agree....Jones would have been much better. Hes faster, he is more in shape, hes a much better foe.
I still think that the job Apollo Creed, Mr. T and Ivan Drago did were much better than what Tarver did. There was no substance behind "Mason Dixion"

Wow! difficult call in this one. i will basically provide an opinion in line with, if the two combatants have been combating at 185 pounds. i think of if Roy Jones became to effectively saved his distance and use his velocity, he could win incredibly honestly via determination in a twelve around combat. i think of Jones could truthfully combat soft at 185 pounds. Rocky Marciano does own the capability to knockout Jones. The question could be, can Marciano seize Jones with some thing flush? if so, then it may be lights furniture out for Jones. a factor of me needs to lean on Jones triumphing via determination, because of the fact in his best, he became very confusing to hit. understanding who Roy is up against, i think of he could play the risk-free practices first mindset, use his quickness to get in and out as quickly as obtainable and cruise to an acceptible determination.

I agree with you and so did stallone. He called Jones 31 times but never heard a response. Thats why he hired Tarver.

I personally would have liked to see James Toney in that role because nobody talks trash like Toney.
