FIRSTLY - if your not going to answer my quesiton, dont bother posting, becuase its SPAM.
Secondly, did i ever say i was buying one? I think not.
I simply want to know, where do people get them from?

Also: I have no desire to use it for Drinking, or to get into clubs. I have my own personal reasons thank you, and never claimed to "Want" one.

I wouldn't try to get them online. Too much chance that they'll rip you off.
If you live near a college town, make some contacts at frats or sororities and ask them where they get them. The Greeks always have fake ID's because of the integral role drinking plays in their culture.
Once you have a few names, go down with someone who knows the fake ID maker, ask to see some of their work, and fork over the cash. Make sure you bring a few passport photos along as well. They should be able to make the ID while you wait if they're good. Odds are you may need to wait for a day or two.

You want to give your money online to someone to perform an illegal activity? Don't do it, even if you find something online. The chances you will be ripped off are very high.
There are always a few people around every college town who make them. If you really want one, i'd ask around with your friends to see if they know anyone who has a fake ID then find out where they got it. Make sure to look at it first to make sure it's a decent fake.
That being said, it's bad news if you get caught with one, they can take away your drivers license for a couple years, or worse in some states. I'd stick to bars that are a little more 'loose' about carding people in the first place.
Bouncers can spot a fake a mile away in most college towns.

Identification that has been forged. Using a screen name is not fake ID. Creating an ID card yourself and trying to doctor it so it looks like an official source (driver's license, passport, library card, etc.) is fake ID. Trying to unofficially change something on an official ID is fake ID, like a 17 year old putting a picture on his 23 year old brother's driver's license.

You get them from criminals, and when you get caught trying to use one you go to jail. Real jail, none of this Monopoly stuff.

Edit: I hope you're not talking about me, because I answered your question as fully as it should be. Inquiring about how an illegal activity is done, especially online, is illegal in itself. If anyone needs to watch themselves here, it is you. You should be happy anyone points this out to you instead of complaining about it. They're doing you a favour.
