Okay this is hilarious...you think you're cat is picky!! listen to this my cat didn't eat a thing from last friday until yesterday because he is so picky...here's the story...
On Thursday night I gave him a little hamburger for a treat..mind you he eats people food more than he eats his food (chicken, tuna, fish, stew, etc.), anyhow he absolutely loved the hamburger...but since then he has hardly even touched anything else...so i was getting really worried...(looking up vets and everything)...anyways last night I got out some hamburger and tried to give him a piece and he went crazy...eating it like he has never eaten before...and now he will turn his nose up to everything besides his precious hamburger...i have no idea what to try next when he gets bored of it...lol...(he does this frequently)...

But what I suggest to do is give him a plate with a sample of all sorts of different foods like I have to do and see which one he likes the best...sometimes even your local petstores will carry sample bags of different sorts of crunchies...or they will have the number for the companies to send you free sample bags...that's what i did...

Try this...purchase kibble that is good quality. The first few ingredients (10) should be meats and veggies. NO corn or wheat. When you are introducing this food put some kibble into the bowl and also a little (canned) salmon. This makes a major attraction. The dog will eat the fish, however will then become comfortable with the kibble itself - chewing, etc. As days go by reduce the amount of salmon (tuna, whatever fish) you put into the food so that there is nothing but kibble. Also observe the stool. If it is good quality the stool should not be really moist and stinky. Good quality kibble will enable the dog to absorb most of the nutrients. On occasion you can add a little bit of cheese, steamed sweet potato, peanut butter, some veggies and some cooked meats (chicken, turkey and beef) whenever you can to add some appeal. Dogs will eat whatever you give them when they are hungry, however it is always a treat to change the meal up a little. Picture us eating the same meal for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day forever. lol You can also brush their teeth daily or even a couple times a week (min) in order to help reduce the plaque. I do our dogs teeth everday due to soft foods, etc. Good luck

all cats want what they want. I used to buy one can of this and one can of that until the cat found the one she wanted to eat. That is about all you can do. My cat won't eat anything with fish in it. HUmm. But she loves fancy feast turkey. And she eats the same thing all the time. She is now 18 and still healty and happy. Good luck

Our cat is picky, but we are too poor for all that Science Diet type, she seems to like purina (sp?) indoor cat formula, comes in a green bag with a pic of a lady with an orange cat on it.

this is a hard one, since it is bad on the cats sensitive stomach to keep changing it's food. start w/ can food. we always us friskies, b/c it has a strong odor & most cats can't resist it. a good dry food, maybe purina 1. we also use it & have never found a cat yet that will not eat it. :)

don't let it be picky...it will eventually control your life.
Food is just the beginning...next thing before you know it will be you furniture and pillows and wallpaper. I've seen it happen. Keep giving it the same cat food. When it gets hungry it'll eventually eat.

Trial and error. Small can or bag/box of each flavor. You already know what your cat doesn't like, so go from there. Do you have a neighbor or friend with a cat that you can take the leftovers to?

Learn its eating patterns and what the cat likes and feed it accordingly.

don't let it be picky.
no table scraps. just cat food. Whatever you get. If it goes on a hunger strike, so be it. It'll eventually eat.

I keep my cats on a rotation feeding... they get a bunch of different types, when they run out of one type, the go to whatever I get next.
changes in taste, texture, nutrients...
