It is probably the age of the dog. you should go to the vet and see if there is anything wrong with your dog if not the only answer is taking her out more often. A friend of mine has a 12 yr old GSD and her dog can barely go an hour without having to pee.

Larger breeds dont usually live that long. A St. Bernard's life expetancy is about 8-10 years. Your girl is really up there....

I think its an age thing. She may have lost her control in her bladder. I dont think there is anything you can really do at this point.

Ask you vet...they may have a pill or something. I have a friend who's dog has accidents (some vet screwed up when they 'fixed' her) she takes a pill every day to control her bladder.

10 years old is VERY senior for a St. Bernard. Unfortunately, many dogs in the elder years become quite incompetant. Sometimes your veterinarian can provide some help, but it is usally just a sign of her age and something to accept.

please take your dog to the vet. At 10 years - peeing in the house could be incontinence because of ILLNESS or DISEASE and only your vet can find out. most old dogs don't start peeing in the house due to old age or senility. It's usually due to an infection or other illness, and you need to either get the illness treated (such as a UTI or a disease like Cushing's Disease) or you need to change your routine to allow the dog to be able to get outside more often.

we have a large breed and he's getting up there in years too. unfortunately it could be a bladder infection or sign of disease. we're finding out that he's starting to loose bladder control. and the good thing is it's not all the time. however it's only going to get worse. so get her seen by a vet asap.

Take her to the vet and have a urine test done. She may have an infection which would cause these accidents plus she is uncomfortable and doesn't want to make mistakes, she loves you.

Could be old age. My 15 year old dog started to have accidents and then went into reno failure. So reno failure is the next thing you might want to watch for.

yep sometimes when dogs are old they have a hard time controlling the muscles in their bladders, take her o the vet, he can give her pills for it, if it is not this it could be a urinary tract infection, there's antibiodic for that too

Call your VET and tell him/her what is going on. They sometimes have a weakend bladder as they grow older and the vet can help you with this.
