Im looking for a small SUV that is good in the snow and will last a long time. Also, I need it to be relatively inexpensive.

RAV4 will last forever. Sorry, I'm sold on Toyota.

If you don't care about resale value and plan on keeping the car a long time, I'd go with Kia. It's the EXACT same vehicle as the Hyundai (they're the same company, Hyundai owns Kia) but for even less than the Hyundai. You also get the excellent 10/100 powertrain warranty.

If you sell your car every 5-6 years, the Toyota has the best resale value of all of them. I'd avoid the Suzuki...they make awesome sportbikes but mediocre cars/suv's.

Go with Kia (or Hyundai) and look for any incentives/offers. They're extremely easy to get for invoice pricing and, depending on time of year, you can get good financing or cash-back offers.

Both Hyundai and Kia are made in Korea, and I have personally seen Kias (two of them) self destuct. The Suzuki is nice, but over-priced. If you want a Suzuki, get a motorcycle. I would go with the RAV4 on this. Of course, you diddnt say anything about a Ford or Chevy. Both make good, American-made small SUVs that will most likely win out over the imports.

Hyundai! My mother has a 2003 Sante Fe and she loves it. You have all wheel drive. It's got a V6 which allows you to get up and go while still getting 20+ Highway miles. Also, they have the highest crash test rating for any SUV right now which will definitely help with insurance!

::Edit::
Everyone else has a point about resale value. Toyota and Honda are better. Hyundai doesn't really keep there value but it's still a great vehicle. A definite go if you're looking at keeping it for awhile.
