My hubby is in the Air Force but he doesn't know; does anyone know if they are getting paid this friday, the 29th, instead of the 1st, since that is a holiday? Or will it be the 2nd? Thanks!

I second beech_babi, we have had banks that wait until the payday as well as some that pay immediately. Our current bank will post the check tonight at midnight (it's Thursday here in Japan). :-) Payday is the 29th though because the 1st is a holiday.

Your husband should get paid on the 29th since the 1st is Monday and a holiday. Ask him to call the finance office to be sure.

We are airforce, and we always get paid the day before the holiday. It also depends on your bank or credit union, ours always posts it as soon as they receive the rip, as our friends bank always waits until the 1st or 15th.
