The brown ones are easier to find in the snow. A fun way to find out is to take several to the top of a tall building, (real tall,) then start dropping them on the busy sidewalk below, the last person to run up and kick your butt will be the one who got the stronger of the two. (In case of a tie, and two people go after you, you may want to follow the eggs down.)Try to do this on a very hot day, that way you can cook your eggs on the sidewalk for lunch.

Ok here is the truth the honest to God's truth about white and brown egg shells, there is no real difference, the color comes from the breed of the chicken, usually the road island red is the giver of the brown egg you find in the store, and also there are chickens that will lay spotted eggs, green eggs and blue eggs (the shells that is) I know this to be true, I grew up on a farm,. farm fresh are the way to go with both eggs and chicken meat, the hardness of the shell depends on the diet, age, and or health of the hen that is laying the egg not the color of her egg.

Frankly, I have noticed that they are a bit thicker (we live in an area where both are sold at the same price).
By the way, how the heck did this question get into the Asia Pacific Travel category?
