Atheist's are not smarter than anyone else they just question things more than others. It doesnt matter how smart a person is because that person is still human, and they need the comfort and belonging that religion gives them.

You will not be any smarter than you would have been as a Christian. You will simply be turning your back on God. Even Christians can believe in evolution to some extent and therefore we are not all quite as ignorant and rigid as atheists would like to believe.

I'd say it would be impossible for you to become an atheist if you are not already smarter than those who believe in God. It just took you a little time to break the bond with Christianity.
Unless you're just a poser atheist.

That's actually a good question. There is a worldly wisdom that the Atheist seem to at least pretend to have. So you could say from a secular perspective that they have all the wisdom in the world. But if they are wrong then all the wisdom in the world would be worth nothing.

No. Just more smart-alecky. Also more paranoid. More fearful of the approaching day. More confused. More obnoxious. More likely to ask dumb questions about religion...and give dumb answers. and so on, and so on. (Gee, I wonder if I'll get thumbs down on this.) So called atheist (self-styled) are more pitiful. If they weren't they'd be more amusing.

No smarter or dumber. Atheism is just a faith that disbelieves in faith. A bit confused but so are many other faiths.

Depends.....if you simply become an atheist due to parental indoctrination, then you will have learned nothing yourself and will remain dimwitted. If you CHOOSE Atheism, you have already become more intelligent in the process.
