I know the Selfridge's sale started 26th December 06 but someone at my bothers worked said its best to go 3rd week in Jan. As i guess they have the final reductions about then....being a bit of a cynic has anyone been there (London Store) around this time of year and do alot of the menswear clothings get knocked off half price? ( i mean 20% to me seems tight and not really a sale ) i went to House of Frasier on boxing day soon as they opened boy was I disappointed! Cheers :O)

I have been there at the last leg of the sale and have to say that if you are after something specific or looking for a size which is popular, then forget it, it will all be gone by then. But if you are only browsing, you will definitely pick up a last minute reduction! But be warned, there won't be much left by the end of jan. Discounts vary, it can range from 20% to 60%

most sales are the same..but you end up only getting the rubbish that no one else wanted to purchase....therefore although it might be a bargain.. its probably not..if you know what i mean
